This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
I created a "Paladin" profile silhouette from the opening sequence of a "Have Gun - Will Travel" episode of the TV series staring Richard Boone. I used a new "all gray" cloud background and re-did the silhouette. I added a darkened holster on the side but made sure the iconic Knight Chess piece symbol was visible. I also superimposed the famous business card on the background clouds with the text, "HAVE GUN WILL TRAVEL - WIRE PALADIN - SAN FRANCISCO" including the white Knight chess piece in the middle. I eliminated the edges of the card however.
This opening sequence is said to have been added in later episodes, where his silhouette profile full figure draws his gun while the camera zooms in on that portion. Sometimes you hear him say a line of dialogue from later in the show. He then holsters his gun.
In early episodes it appears he wears black clothing when on a job but in actuality it was midnight blue. In any case it definitely helped to give him an intimidatin...
About Brian Wallace
I'm a retired communications instructor/developer, raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (USA). I have a wide range of interests which include some artistic talent. My eclectic tastes, thirst for variety, and preference for images over words, eventually lead me through the internet to the world of 3D stereo in 2005. Since I've been with Fine Art America, I've focused primarily on regular photography with a touch of digital manipulation to better compose the images and ideas. Each time I think I've reached a peak, I find myself crossing another threshold that challenges my abilities and talents while paving way to another plateau.
